From what I hear, the pink palace might even be too young for someone in their 20's, unless in college. It sounds like summer camp!
When my friend went years ago, they brought all the new checkins in one place to inform them of going on's, etc. Then told them that as long as they stayed in that room, the booze would be for free. As soon as they left the room for any reason, they'd start paying. This resulted in all kinds of tired kids who just came in on ferries drinking until they got sick because it was free pour!
That story alone persuaded me to head to the Cyclades instead.

Corfu is pretty much like Mykonos in that you can choose to stay away from the craziness. It's a very green island, so different from the ones I saw in Cyclades. When I go again I would choose to either stay right in Corfu Town (if the beach wasn't a priority) or on the northwest coast where I saw he prettiest beaches. A heavy concentration of the drunken areas appeared to be on the southeast coast from Corfu Town down.
