Now I REALLY do think this is a troll.
Anyone who would take a joke suggestion to fly from LHR to Glasgow or Edinburgh and back down to Stansted to save about £3 and spend most of a day in transit has GOT to be a troll . . . . . .
Patricia - if you are not a troll, give it up already. You have beat this horse way beyond dead. Take the bloody National Express, OK . . . . .

Patricia is asking on another thread ("cultural events" about free concerts in Italy, and berating someone who suggested she amend her thread title to be more specific. It seems that, although she asks for advice, she doesn't like to get it.

I thought the flight suggestion was pretty good. I'd suggest taking Air Canada or British Airways from LHR to YVR, and then take Zoom from YVR to STN. That could be done in a minimum of 24 hours (more likely 30 hours or so when timing is considered).
In case anyone didn't get the joke, note that the National Express is cheaper (at 20 pounds) than the BMI + Easyjet suggestion (minium of 40 pounds or thereabouts, I would think, when taxes are considered).
