How long have you been a Fodorite?
Out of curiosity (and boredom here at work), I decided to do a search on my own name and see if I could find my very first post here on this site. Although I don't post very often, I do love to read the messages here and have relied on Fodorites for a long time when it comes to travel plans.
Anyway, I think my first post was in February 1999, just prior to a trip I took to Scotland. I know I had been researching that trip for a while before I ever posted anything, so I guess I probably discovered this site in late 1998.
Which leads me to my question... How long have you been posting/reading messages on this board?

In looking back at my name, it looks like I first posted in April 2002 although I remember lurking here for a few months before that. Oh, and I've posted 93 times. Seems like it should be longer than just 2 years based on all of the fantastic information I've received from this site!

This was the last time someone asked.
I have been here since 2001.

Ahhh, thanks for posting that link!
A spinoff to my original question (which probably has also already been asked): has your posting "style" changed at all? I noticed one of my first few posts was something like, "What's there to do in Italy?" - which makes me cringe now! I definitely try to post more specific questions nowadays!

Oooh, interesting question Marilyn. If you put your own name into the search box, does it go back past the point registration started? I'd love to access my first post (1998)!
By the way...when are we going on our "field trip"?
