Can you suggest reasonable accomodations in Venice for 2 nights

We will be traveling starting in Venice and ending in Capri. Can anyone suggest places to stay for 2 nights and suggestions for transportation from Venice to Capri and any stops along the way?

We stayed for 3 nights here two years:

Reasonably priced small, clean basic hotel. Fantastic location, if a bit hard to find. Like others, if you read reviews, we walked right by it on the first pass. But worth finding and we'd go back there on future visits.

Partly depends on your definition of 'reasonable'. What is your budget?

3 min from San Toma stop, simple, clean accomidations, breakfast, and great candy store directly across from the door and seconds to San Toma campo.

How many of you are "we"? What do you mean by reasonable? What are you expecting - a modest pension with shared bath and stairs versus elevators? AC? (And what time of year?) Or a full-service hotel with all amenities?

As to how to get form Venice to Capri? Are you going any other places in between? If so, take a train. If not, fly from Venice to Naples and there hop a ferry to Capri.
