Cambridge Hotels

I am looking for suggestions for nice hotels in Cambridge. I will be traveling by train and walking a fair bit. I would prefer to keep the price under £100 per night. All ideas are welcome.

Hi

I don't have an answer to this as I am looking for one too. I need 1 night loding from 28/12/06 to 29/12/06. anybody out there has good suggestion? I received couple of replies that they either fully booked or closed (for B&Bs). I supposed partly due to the Xmas season

I stayed at the De Vere University Arms Hotel two years ago and found it very nice.Huge buffet breakfast was a big plus.
In March 2004 I got it through Lastminute.com for £70.

A friend stayed at Arundel House & liked it. Try Google. She really liked the location on the river Cam.

Stayed at the Lensfield Hotel a couple of years ago. Very pleasant experience, good breakfast, nice restaurant for dinner.

The University Arms Hotel has a good location...close to centre city and on St. Andrews, which leads to the train station as well. Easy walking distance. Have not stayed there myself, we always rent a flat while we are there, but it does look nice. There is also a pub that I love that has rooms above it and is also a great location, it is called the Earl of Derby. I have no idea about the rooms but we always thought it looked fun to stay there. Farther from centre city but closer to the train station. Have a great time, I love Cambridge!
