Has anyone stayed at the Knightsbridge Hotel?

I am headed to London and have chosen to stay at the Knightsbridge Hotel.

Has anyone stayed in this hotel? I would be interested in hearing your opinion about the quality of the hotel.

Thanks.

Yalexhop - I stayed at the Millenium Knightsbridge Hotel on Sloane Street. I was not overly impressed with it. Location was excellent but 2 days out of 7 my room didn't get cleaned until 3:00 p.m.

I haven't stayed there but I know the location well & it's in a great spot. Got good reviews on Trip Advisor.

Thanks Madison and Carrybean for your response.

Madison, this is a different hotel from the Millenium Knightsbridge. The Knightsbridge Hotel that I am seeking information on is at 10 Beaufort Gardens and is part of the Firmdale Hotels group. Have you stayed in it by chance?

Thanks.

Good choice, valexshop. I stayed at the Knightsbridge Hotel several years ago and loved it. Located around the corner from Harrods on a quiet street, it's decorated in a very appealing style, has comfortable beds, great baths and pleasant common areas. No restaurant but you can get food served in your room or in the sitting rooms that function in place of a lobby.

All the Firmdale hotels I've stayed in are nice, but this one is more affordable than the others.

I have stayed on the street, I agree it is a great location.

the New York Times recently ran this article about it

If you're flying into Heathrow, you can take the Piccadilly line to the Knightsbridge stop & you're just a block from the hotel. Personally, if I'm staying in a hotel I enjoy a smaller one vs a huge one. Lots of restaurants in the area also.
