Trip Advisor has posted many very bad reviews on G7 taxis in Paris. What happened?
Haven’t used them in a few years but they used to be so reliable.

We have already booked a car service through our apartment rental agency back to CDG in Dec. but a friend has asked for a suggestion of a reliable taxi from their apt. to CDG.
After reading those reviewsI hesitate to recommend G7.
I told them to ask their apt. agency. Any other suggestions ?

Really? I have seen a lot bad reviews on TA from those who did NOT use G7 and were deceived by a rogue driver. I have seen even more bad reviews by those who have been cheated by shuttle companies but ever since the fixed fares from the airports into Paris, the taxis parisiens have, on the whole, have very favorable reviews.

I wholeheartedly recommend any of the taxis parisiens, of which Taxi G7 is but one. Do not accept offers from clandestine drivers soliciting from within the terminals.

I'm not up to speed on TA reviews (I generally don't pay any attention to them), but G7 is the only taxi service I ever use when in Paris and I have no complaints at all.

Good to know that G7 is still reliable so I can recommend them.
We had good service from them in the past.

The G7 taxi company has existed since 1905. A couple of years ago, it bought its biggest competitor Taxis Bleus and merged it into the G7 name. It is the biggest taxi company in France.

TripAdvisor is just misinformed. Why would G7 be worse than another company ? If you want to recount horror stories, you can alwasys find one. Especially if you read the 'local' - which has nothing to do with a local.
