We will be travelling from Sorrento to Rome on October 20/10 and the bus sounds like a convenient way to go. Do you have to have a reservation ahead of time or just get the ticket the day of travel?

I bought my tickets a day ahead because the departure is so early (6am)and I wanted to make sure I had tickets/seats (there were six of us). Curreri depart 1/2 hour later than Marozzi.
The pdf I linked above no longer has the English directions. The new pdf does have screen by screen pictures so you should be able to walk your self through the process.

Wanted to ask about a contingency plan using the Bus.
...Say your flight was delayed, because of weather, and you were planning to meet a large group in Rome with a driver to Sorrento. But you now have missed the party/driver and have to go on to Sorrento yourself and want to use the bus (and have no internet access) instead of transfering on multi- trains.
Can you go to the Tiburtina station (1 or 2 people) and hope to buy a ticket on the CURRERI or MAROZZI buses through any type of ticket window somewhere? or directly from the driver?
Does anyone know if the buses are close in proximity to one another so if one bus was sold out, you could quickly find out if the other had seats?
