bus from Rome to Sorrento
Does anyone know the bus schedule from Rome to Sorrento? The name of the bus company is Marozzi. Has anyone taken this route to Sorrento? I tried calling the company for their schedule and possible reservation , but they don't speak English.

HI, I googled Marozzi for you and found:
http://www.alfonsoamare.it/italiano/marozzi.htm
I took the bus from Sorrento to Rome a few years ago, it left early in the morning, was filled with commuters and left us at the Tibertina train station.
It was a pleasant ride, they stored luggage in a compartment under the bus and there were no toilets on board.
My friend and I just couldn't face wrestling with our luggage on trains any longer so we took the bus which was alot easier.

I put Marozzi in the Fodors Talk search box and came up with this web site, there are quite a few threads on this, too, I don't even remember writing on them either, odd:

Bus 22 leaves Rome Tiburtina at 3:00 pm and arrives Sorrento at 7:00 pm. Their website is in Italian only but I seem to remember you could book online and even make seat selection. There is also bus 23 that leaves Rome Tiburtina at 7 am stopping in Sorrento at 10:45 with a final destination of Amalfi. I think they may have different schedule on the weekdays than on the weekends. Price is about 19E. www.marozzivt.it
As far as I know there is only one return bus and that is a very early 6 am departure from Sorrento. I did this last summer because we didn't want to change trains etc. and had to meet up with people in Rome at noon.
