Bus from Evian les Bains to Yvoire?

Hi all,

I'll be going to Lausanne in May. So, I want to spend a day exploring the French side of the lake. I plan to take a boat from Lausanne to Evian les Bains. Then, I want to go to Yvoire. On map, it looks close. I've googled for bus options, so I found that there are bus running between Evian and Thonon. But, is there a bus from Thonon to Yvoire? Anyone know?

Regards,
Bill

You have to transfer buses in Thonon so timing is important. Bus 152 runs from Thonon to Yvoire.

Yvoire is such a sweet little village! Loved it.

Hi joannyc,

Thanks. I saw the same exact link as you provided. I'm now looking into the bus company's website to get latest schedule.

And about Yvoire, I fell in love with it instantly when I saw pictures on internet. And, since it's quite close to Evian, I included it in my itineraries. Have you been there? Did you took boat from Nyon?

Hi billsein,

I stayed a couple of nights in Evian and had a rental car so I drove to Yvoire.

You will love it... the flowers should all be in bloom in May, correct?

Yvoire's delightful.

Be warned: the public toilets there are DISGUSTING.

Hi joannyc,

I don't know, but hoping they'll bloom when I go there.

Hi Noncomformist,

Yeah, I know. That's why I decide to go there. And, thanks for the advice about the public toilets.
