Best bus Company - Bariloche to Pto Montt

Is there a preference in terms of comfort of the seats for the bus company to take going from Bariloche to Pto Montt? SurBariloche (Arg company)has been recommended but it leaves very early @ 7:30. Notre Bus Company (Chilean company) leaves a touch later. Is one company better for comfort than the other? thanks!

It is Bus Norte, the Argentine associate of Cruz del Sur, a Chilean company. They do a connection in Osorno. It really makes little difference which company you take. It is not a long trip and you will be wanting to look at the scenery the whole way. ViaBariloche will sometimes use El Valle or other associate bus companies. I do that crossing frequently and there is really very little difference between the buses.

Huentetu, how lucky you are to do this crossing often. It's such a beautiful trip.

I don't remember which bus lines I used, but I know the buses all looked nice.

years ago we took a very nice chilenean company between Pto Montt and Bariloche. Food cannot be taken between countries so if you buy a sandwich as we did be sure you have eaten it before customs. Customs as I recall took a long time. Both countries seem to indulge in long
red paper activities.

Your prayers must have worked, we made it...back in Chile. (this iPad is giving me fits..love It but the editing feature and I do not get along.)

we took Tas Choapa bus line for 100ARG pesos. It was supposed to leave at 9 am but left @ 9:30. seats were fine esp. since we got the first row. thanks all for your recommendations.
