Burns Supper - Live Webcast

Glasgow City Council is currently broadcasting live coverage of their Burns Supper, billed as one of the largest in the world, on the web.

If you'd like to see what's going on, here's a link:

Thanks for posting this. I've forwarded it to a friend who's a huge Burns fan, and who will probably get a kick out of watching it. (Unfortunately, I can't download the webcast right now, because I'm at the office, where we're under strict orders not to do anything like that because it would cause bandwidth problems for the rest of the company.)

I'm afraid that at 6:45 GMT, I should be on my 3rd dream.

I went to a Burns Supper in 1990 -- what a fun time. The haggis was interesting (required lots of scotch), but could never get the dance steps working.

Gosh, Scarlett!

If burning dinners were considered as being newsworthy, we would have a news team on permanent stand-by right outside the house!
