Brussels hotel ideas

We need suggestions for a good 4* air-conditioned hotel in Brussels in June. We would like it to be in a good location.
Thank you, Toni

I enjoyed the Hotel Amigo, it's right behind Grand Place. I found the location perfect & walked to everything I wanted to see. Room was very large by European standards & had a great view.

The Conrad is my favorite hotel in Brussels.

I also vote for the Hotel Amigo. The location is unbeatable and the service is excellent.

What do you mean by a good location? There is much more to Brussels than the Grand'Place. If you are only staying one night, then staying by the GP is a good idea and the Hotel Amigo fits the bill *But* if your stay is more than one night, you might enjoy being where the better restaurants, shops, parks, etc. are located, which is AWAY from the Grand'Place. For example, the Chatelain is an excellent all-suite hotel just off the Avenue Louise by the lively Chatelain neighborhood, where you are in easy walking distance of many excellent restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. Yet you can also reach the GP area easily by tram or metro (or taxi). It's also a better location if you have young children because it's close to the Parc Tenbosch.
