Brussels hotel

I will be in Brussels for a night and want to be close to the Centraal station in order to get to the airport for an early morning flight. Has anyone stayed at the Royal Windsor Grand Place in Brussels? It is listed as a 5 star hotel and I was wondering if it is worth it. Any other recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Is it worth it? Depends on the price and your budget.

I can get a room for US$ 140. I have the budget but wanted to know if it is a nice place or will I be better off at another hotel.

Hotel Metropole isn't THAT much further and is seriously historic. I remember getting a rate around $150 USD back in October.

Hi, I lived in Brussels for 2 years, and yes, that hotel is a great choice. It is a 2 minute walk to the Grand Place (square) a fun place to hang out, and about a five minute walk to the rue de Bucher (a very touristy but must see restaurant street) While you are there ask directions to Wittamer, one of the best Belgian chocolate shops. Also, I recommend La Quincallerie for a restauant if it is still there. Order the Creme Brulee!!!!!
