Have a few days in Brussels and would appreciate suggestions re accommodation, 'old town', B & B or boutique hotel. Don't let me down Fodorites please.

We've stayed at the Hotel Welcome in the past and I have recommended it to many friends, who have all enjoyed it. One of them has made it her regular hotel when she is in Brussels on business.

Ditto for hotel Welcome. We stayed there for 3 nights six years ago. We loved it. We ate once at the hotel restaurant, very good food. The hotel owners were very graceful along with the rest of the staff. I saw that Vanessa still works there. I need to go back to visit them.

You can do a LOT better than the hotel Welcome IMHO - though it does depend on when you are here. Weekends are cheaper than weekdays. If there is an EU Council meeting, etc. it is very difficult to get rooms.
I like the Dixseptième or the Hotel Windsor because of the location.
