C'mon, accommodation help in Brussels needed!
Have a few days in Brussels and would appreciate suggestions re accommodation, 'old town', B & B or boutique hotel. Don't let me down Fodorites please.

Budget and dates please.

My usual rec is for the one time we stayed in Brussels (but staying again this April):
Atlas Hotel www.atlas-hotel.be/ |
We've stayed at the Hotel Welcome in the past and I have recommended it to many friends, who have all enjoyed it. One of them has made it her regular hotel when she is in Brussels on business.

Ditto for hotel Welcome. We stayed there for 3 nights six years ago. We loved it. We ate once at the hotel restaurant, very good food. The hotel owners were very graceful along with the rest of the staff. I saw that Vanessa still works there. I need to go back to visit them.

You can do a LOT better than the hotel Welcome IMHO - though it does depend on when you are here. Weekends are cheaper than weekdays. If there is an EU Council meeting, etc. it is very difficult to get rooms.
I like the Dixseptième or the Hotel Windsor because of the location. |
Another vote for Le Dixseptieme.

A vote for Hotel Windsor. Location, location, location!

Thanks Fodorites, you've done it again! Lawchick, we're going in September and our budget is medium, I'll have a look at all the suggestions. Thanks again Everyone!

I vote for Hotel Welcome. The staff is awesome and they were featured on the Travel Channel last year.
|
Well, if they were featured on the Travel Channel then y'all should certainly go. Does Rick whatshisface mention them?
|
More thanks all. Lawchick, I like your sense of humour!!!

Hotel Amigo near the Grand Place is lovely and in a great location but definitely a 5*.
