Blue Grotto in December, is it possible?
My husband and I (38 and 35) are leaving for Italy on November 23, we'll be in Napoles Saturday, November 28 and I would love to go to Capri and visit the Blue Grotto. I'm assuming it's going to be cold (and more by the water...)we would obviously not swim, I just want to go inside the Grotto (if the conditions are suitable) I was just worry about how cold it might be and if anyone had done it in this time of the year. Thanks so much! Tatiana from Chicago

It's extremely unlikely, since the water tends to be rough that time of year.
And you can enter the Blue Grotto (barely, laying flat in the bottom of a row boat) only when the sea is perfectly flat.
(The opening is only a few feet high at the best of times - if seas are rough there is NO opening - and you can get in only underwater - not possible in November unless you want to develop hypothermia.)
