drobert,
We spent several nights at the Bisanzio in 2003..it was a nice stay, but not "luxury" and the rooms were average size..didn't have children along, so can't answer that..the location is good...close to St. Mark's, but off the Grand Canal...if Gabriel is still at the desk, he is wonderful and generous with help..he made the hotel for us...

The Bisaznio was the only hotel whose name I wrote down when I passed it because I thought the location was so pleasant, I'd want to check it out for a return visit. It's in one of the very least touristed parts of Venice, just east of San Marco, but nonetheless a stone's throw from the major sites. Plus, I noticed many restaurants around with Italians enjoying a relaxed lunch at them.
