Best European cities?
Please suggest two cities that you would suggest for a couple in their early thirties with no children. We enjoyed Paris and London last year, so are not particularly interested in those locations. We will be going on holiday in the fall of 2003 and would like to stay in western Europe. Thanks for the wisdom. Happy travels.

Berlin and either Prague, Vienna or Budapest. I know 2 were in old east but enough time has passed that you won't notice much difference and you can find English-speakers. Krakow with Zakopane, Auschwitz/Birkenau and other day trips is also nice.<BR>Berlin is a most interesting city--it is the history of the 20th century and has so much culture. Vienna is posh and elegant. Prague has incredible architecture. Budapest is so different and is a worn posh--it is there but so many years in the east have tarnished it a bit.

Prague and Vienna are great...or you could tour around Switzerland (magnificent). I wouldn't waste my time in Amsterdam (dirty and quite disappointing IMO) Another city with lots to see of course is Rome. I'm also 31 and have been to Europe 4 times now...love it! Sy
