I just wanted to report back that we stayed at this lovely B&B. We had reserved the Dante e Beatrice Suite for our family of 4 (2 seperate rooms with one bath). When we arrived the bathroom was not working in our rooms so the owners offered us the 4th floor studio apt. This was small and not enough privacy, so after a little discussion they gladly let our sons have the apt. and we got a fantastic room with a view of Piazza Della Signoria. All for the price of 290E a night. What a deal! We even offered to pay them for the extra room but they said no. The owners felt bad and said it was their fault our room was not ready. The rooms all are new, with hardwood floors, nice furniture, rugs, draperies and paintings. It is quiet and has ac. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The owners, Sonia and Alessandro Pini are the kindest sweestest people you'll ever meet. They do not speak English well, but are learning. The young man and woman they have working there speak English very well. Breakfast was delicious. Eggs, ham, crossiants, fruit, yogurt, juice, expresso, and the best cappuccino we had in Italy. The location was the best, right on the Piazza and we could walk everywhere. I hope to go back there someday, we loved Florence and this B&B.
