Relais Uffizi

Any reason that there is almost nothing mentioned about this hotel in the forum? Does anyone have ANY info that will be helpful, I'm considering staying there in May. Thanks.

I was thinking of staying there myself, but I found better accommodations and prices elsewhere in Florence for my next trip. All in all, it looks nice but the prices can be better elsewhere. It depends on what you want.

Hi Dave,

Can't tell you about the hotel, but I am planning on staying there in May. The hotel got good reviews from travlocity.com and karenbrown.com.

Sorry, it was tripadvisor.com, not travelocity, that had the reviews for Relais Uffizi.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights last April, it is the best located one I have ever stayed in Florence.

It is located in a narrow lane off Piazza Della Signoria, mminutes walk to many major attractions. But even in the centre of the town, I could hardly hear any street/motobike noises in middle of the night, which is a big plus in Florence.

The hotel is small, with lovely rooms and bright, modern bathrooms. Good continental breakfast in a nice lounge overlooking the Piazza. It was really enjoyable while sipping morning tea to view the beautifuul piazza without tons of tourists around.

Ditto the above. We stayed at the Relais Uffizi in October 2002. The location and accomodations cannot be beat. I would stay there again.

Very nice place and very nice staff.
