ATM card with pulse in France?
I'm pretty sure I'll have no problem, but my US ATM card has the following codes and I want to make sure they'll work at the Paris airport and other france ATMs. NYCE, PULSE, STAR, theexchange....anyone used their ATM and remember seeing these accepted?

I've used an ATM card on the Plus network...also, they do have credit cards with a 'puce', which is the credit cards with a chip. I have tried using a regular credit card on some machines (eg SNCF) and they would not work, required smart credit card.

Your US ATM card on Plus network will work on French ATMs, whether ot not it has a chip.
If you have a debit or credit card without a chip, you can still use it for purchases and services (except in automated machines like ticket dispenser), but you have to sign the slip - French staff know all about foreign cards and look at them carefully to see if they need to be swiped or just slotted into a chip reader.

I do have an ATM-only card that only has PLUS and STAR on it, and it works in France with no problem. This is an ATM card from a local bank where I live in Maryland, and not a debit card, so that's why it doesn't have a lot of networks listed. However, I would worry if I were you if you don't have either PLUS or CIRRUS on your card. That is really unusual to have an ATM card without one of them.
I've never had any credit card problems in France with the exception of the SNCF automatic ticket machines. Of course, I think that's the only place I tried to use it in a machine.
