athens to where???
We will be flying in to athens and staying for 2 nights at the Grand Bretagne. We have another 6 nights to explore Greece. We want to see two more islands. Mykonos or Santorinit? or Santorini and another island.

Last year in Santorini we stayed at the Pegasus and here is my letter of complaint to the owner:
Dear Mr. Lefteris Kafouros,
I'm writing this letter as suggested by the man at the counter at our checkout date. Our stay between June 7 and 9 at the Pegasus Suites was very enjoyable and relaxing. But I have one major disapointment - my wife and I did not get the quality of the honeymoon room as shown on your web page. Our room # 225 was not part of the original Pegasus but in fact was an adjacent hotel that was subcontracted by Pegasus for our stay. Our room was much older and did not have the same features as our daughter's room. The following items were not acceptable or we did not receive, but advertized as available in all rooms:
1) Old bathroom - water leaks from sink area; old door did not close properly, allowing my wife no privacy.
2) No bathtub with jacuzzi.
3) No CD player
4) No direct dial phones
5) No safe deposit box
6) No wet bar with dishes - instead we had an old refridgerator that did not work correctly
7) No bath robes or slippers, until we asked for them.
Also the room was not available until 15:00 and still it was not properly prepared as our daughter's room.
Because of these problems I'm requesting our room charges to be reduced to 165 euros per night instead of 230 euros. Thank you and look forward to your response.
P.S. My daughters had room #118 and everything was very nice and as expected of Pegasus.
Bottom line, I would recommend the Pegasus only if you can get assurance that your room will be one of the original suites and not the old hotel next door.

We stayed at the Grand Bretagne in Athens and then flew to Santorin for
3 days. We loved the Katikies Hotel - it is the best! Be sure to ask for the Hotel, not the Suites when making a reservation. We did not go to Mykonos, spent the rest of our trip on Hydra. It was a great place also.
