If you are going to Europe, you should learn how to read military or 24 hr clock time as you'll see it a lot.

Had the metric system anything to do with 24hr system? I never thought that but this may be my ignorance. Can somebody can enlighten me?

Kite: the time is measured in meters and liters as opposed to yards and quarts.

Isn't it the logical answer to your question

Isn't time measured by how many cities one can see in 10 days?

uuhhhh, I'd start with a full bottle of gin (vodka works but you don't get the aphrodisiac effects of the juniper berry). After you've drunk half the bottle you don't give a damn about the keyboard and just go out and buy a new one at Staples tomorrow.
