just to make sure - that would be 10:30 pm?

jsmith Oct 31st, 2003 09:34 AM

Yes, but remember France is on the metric system.

Christina Oct 31st, 2003 09:36 AM

If you are going to Europe, you should learn how to read military or 24 hr clock time as you'll see it a lot.

girlfriendred Oct 31st, 2003 09:42 AM

I believe I DO KNOW how to read it or I wouldn't have known it was 10:30-would I?? ???? I just am surprise that it stayed open that late.

Thank you ST CIRQ. Everybody else-please go find somebody else to pick on.

>France is on the metric system.

Had the metric system anything to do with 24hr system? I never thought that but this may be my ignorance. Can somebody can enlighten me?

FainaAgain Oct 31st, 2003 10:47 AM

Kite: the time is measured in meters and liters as opposed to yards and quarts.

Isn't it the logical answer to your question :S

girlfriendred Oct 31st, 2003 11:30 AM

Kite - some people need to get a life, don't they???

DougP Oct 31st, 2003 11:30 AM

Isn't time measured by how many cities one can see in 10 days?

ira Oct 31st, 2003 11:35 AM

Hi all,

This site should help with determining the time:

>the time is measured in meters and liters

Really?

uuhhhh Oct 31st, 2003 01:07 PM

since you were the cause of the problem jsmith, how do i clean the coca cola from my keyboard?

RonZ Oct 31st, 2003 04:10 PM

Thanks Ira, but do you have something more intellectually challenging?

jsmith Oct 31st, 2003 04:17 PM

uuhhhh, I'd start with a full bottle of gin (vodka works but you don't get the aphrodisiac effects of the juniper berry). After you've drunk half the bottle you don't give a damn about the keyboard and just go out and buy a new one at Staples tomorrow.
