What kind of hotel? In the city or elsewhere? What budget? <BR><BR>We stayed in an inexpensive hotel just outside the old walls of the city. It wasn't particularly special in terms of the rooms, but the location was fantastic and they had a very good breakfast. I would have no hesitation staying there again, but for many people, they would prefer more upscale digs.

For really cheap, we stayed at Mango in the old city. Spare, but a good lively crowd in the Internet cafe downstairs, and easy walking distance to the major sights in the old city.

Yes, the Rodos is simply divine. It has special eye rolling lessons for those cheeky touchy visitors..

Based on all the prior posts, I wouldn't even goto Rhodes. Sounds like Turkey is a better alternative and far less expensive. My friends and I loved Turkey. People were wonderful and we picked up a really nice turkish rug.
