I only have one question for those who have suggested you move Hotels during your stayBR>
Do you travel to Paris for the Hotel Room or for Paris?

I know what my answer, and that of most of those who are on this board, is.

Paris, Paris and more Paris.

For me Paris is the unfamiliar streets, the magnificent Street Markets, the food, drinking coffee and people watching, the history, the Arts and immersing myself, as much as possible, into a different environment. Whatever you do, walk as much as possible as you become more a part of Paris (or any city for that matter) than any other method of transport.

David

For me Paris is the Parisites who talk incessantly about the city of lights without ever mentioning the fact that they have dog poop everywhere and the people act like a group of high school students in Beverly Hills in trying to be cool and aloof and rude. An acting job they perform very well.

Matthew,
You appear to be very narrow-minded. Yes, there is dog poop on the sidewalks but did you notice they have city workers to clean it up? So the Parisians like having dogs-so do other nationalities. And not every one of them act like high schoolers from Beverly Hills as you put it-aloof and rude. Maybe you got that attitude from the attitude you give. Seems like you don't like people from Beverly Hills either-or anywhere else?
