Accommodation in Grindenwald and in Paris
Hi
I am looking for an apartment for 2 nights in Paris Aug 15 and 16 and 2 nights in Grindenwald for August 17 and 18.
Any suggestion for the places you state day are welcome.
We are traveling with 2 little kids so need 2 double beds at least ( seems like not the norm in Europe)..

you need these FIVE days from now? Or are you talking about next year?
(I am afraid to ask about the rest of your itinerary -- 2 days in paris really isn't very much and then you'll use up hours on the 17th to get to Grindelwald.)

There are very few apartments that will let you stay only two days in Paris. August 15th is a national holiday, also, which might complicate some things, like arrival.
A lot of places might have one double bed and a double sofabed, much more common than two double beds (cheaper, that's for sure). If they are little, you might consider that.
I don't know anything special, I'd just check with your parameters on www.vrbo.com or www.airbnb.com or www.homeaway.com.
Here's one that would work in Paris

It is for next week..yes.. Last minute but that's how most of our trips are.
We have been to Paris before without kids.. Just going for 2 days with kids with plans just to take daughter to the Eiffel Tower and walk around.
We have only 3 days in Switzerland but unfortunately both husband and I are physicians and most of our vacations are just a week's escape..
VRBO has tons of apartments so just was looking for a referral if someone has stayed in any. We have stated in apartments in Rome Amalfo coast for 2 nights and we're always lucky to find something last minute..thanks to the web
