Has anyone stayed in this B&B in Rome? We have a good offer for 100 euros private bath.

Hey, I just made reservations at Villa della Fonte! Did you enjoy it? Were the beds comfortable? Was it noisy? Breakfast ok? The price jumped up to 160E...would you pay that to stay there again?

Thanks,
Jocelyn

I liked it alot - it is a little noisy at night depending if you room faces the street - the area is very very lively at night time so it can be noisy, trastevere is a bit of a party area. We were there in late May so I closed the window and turned on the air and all was quiet.

The hotel is a little hard to find - and does not look like much on the outside. just a door in a stuco building with a little plaque next to it. the rooms are all upstairs with a little roof top deck where you eat breakfast.

I think 160 is okay, I would probably pay that depending on the time of year and what other hotels were charging.
- the rooms are pretty new and the beds were comfortable, terra cotta tile and newer bathroom. English cable channels.very nice people working there. The best thing is staying in trastevere - the resturants are must less expensive(at still very good) in the area.
