Amsterdam to Rome
Hey guys,
Next August I want to travel from Amsterdam to Rome for 1 week. Before going to Rome, I want to stay in some city. I'm thinking about Bavaria (Munich), Prague, Vienna, and Budapest. Is it possible to travel through those city? I need your advise.
PS : I like to see castel and I will definetely stay in Rome for 2-3 days.

Do you mean that you have a total of 7 days in europe? And you are landing in Amsterdam and leaving from Rome?
Or are you living in Amsterdam and want to visit one place before Rome in the 7 days? If so, does this 7 days include flying from Rome back to Amsterdam?
If so - those 2 cities will more than take up the limited time you have - 3 days in each plus one day to travel from A to R. I don't see where you have time to visit a 3rd major city.

If it's only possible to visit one place, what's your recommendation?
Thanks!

What's flying to do with anything? ;0)
Amsterdam to Munich by day trains from €39 or by direct City Night Line sleeper, depart 20:30, arrive 07:10, from €60 with couchette or from €105 with a bed in a 2-bed sleeper, breakfast included, shower at the end of the corridor
- book at www.bahn.de/en with print at home tickets.
Munich to Rome also by direct City Night Line sleeper, www.bahn.de/en
Or Munich to Verona through the scenic Brenner Pass by day from €39 www.bahn.de/en then Verona or Bologna to Rome from €29 www.trenitalia.com
I'd be tempted to divert via Venice!

Vienna and Budapest are much farther east and therefor much more of an indirect way to get to Rome. Unless you fly, the additional time (over going through Munich) will probably be 8-10 hours.
Prague, while closer, does not have the most rapid connections to/from Germany so it is a bit of an effort and much slower to get to it and then on to Rome, by train, than it's geographic position would suggest.
