Amsterdam Hotel - Help

I have waited too long and the Seven Bridges Hotel as well as the Toren and others are not available during my stay - 11/1 - 11/4
What other suggestions might you have -
I am single, and want to be near museums and Vondelpark and the the canals
Thank you so much for your help

Hotel Residence le Coin is a good value, centrally located.

Hotel Fita next to Van Gogh Museum and near Vondel Park. Sure they have single rooms. Very good breakfast.
Tram stop about 2 blocks away-not far to catch a canal boat.
Jan Luykensburg just down the street from The Fita would also be a good choice.

We stayed at the Canal House in May which was charming and comfortable but it's a little pricey.

I can highly recommend Piet Hein. We stayed there in Spring of 2005 and it was wonderful! It's directly across the street from Vondelpark, the staff are very friendly and the rooms are spotless.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH -
if I was going to really go for it - would you stay at Hotel Toren, Banks Mansion, or Pulitzer??????

I really do respect and honor all who visit this site.

Wishing you all the best of everything!

I heard wonderful things about Banks, but I also had a great experience with Toren - a spacious room right on the canal, quiet, friendly staff, liked the location.

Just stayed at Banks Mansion a few weeks ago and LOVED it. Great little hotel, free minibar and alchohol bar in lobby and free internet. Plus location is great and Huge buffet breakfast included, made to order omelets and pancakes no xtra charge. Hope that helps.

If you are really going to go for it, please forget my first two suggestions, seriously, they are more modest 3-stars.

I was able to find another way to get a reservation at the Toren - I don't know how it all works - but I was able to.
So, I just need to decide how steep a price to pay.
And between the Banks, Pulitzer and Toren - what are your opinions??
Wishing you all a wonderful adventure.
