I have just attempted to order tickets to the Alhambra for a visit in the Fall and there is an announcement on their web site that no advance tickets are available for sale after July 31, 2007. Do any of you experts know what is going on? Thanks in advance!

Yes, the Alhambra trust and the bank who is selling the advanced tickets have an agreement (a contract) that it's about to finish. The bank can't sell tickets if they don't renovate the agreement

I saw the same announcement. We are going in May and the times we wanted were already gone when we tried to buy them last week. We contacted our hotel in Granada and they were able to get us booked for the time we wanted through some sort of hotel association reservation service that they have access to. We'll still have to go early to pick up our tickets. You may want to check with your hotel if you've made a reservation. We are staying at the Room Mate Migueletes.

Hi Midland - ask your hotel to reserve tickets for you. That's what I did last year, and it worked perfectly. Don't wait too long: they go very fast!
