Alicante to Almeria: bus, train, plane?
I'm having difficulty finding transportation from Alicante to Almeria: there seems to be no direct route by train or by plane. Alba buses take around 4.5 hours for the trip (which seems like a lot of time in a bus!) Does anyone have information to share? (I hesitate to rent a car... I don't like driving on unknown roads)

the bus is tedious, cheap, and my son has taken it..(all the way from valencia!) no other decent way besides a car.

good roads. divided highway. no tolls.
straight shot.

the bus will probably only take you an hour more than the car.. if you do not want to drive, i would take the bus. i was just saying that the BUS is the ONLY way to go besides a car.

but if you do decide to rent.. the roads are good.

There is no flight Alicante-Almeria, louanne.
