Airlines from London,Paris,or Frankfurt to Prague?

Does anyone know what "cheapie" airlines fly from any of the above cities to Prague-or even regular carriers? I got a rate of $1100 from Air France for CDG to Prague RT and that seems sooooooooo high. I would prefer flying from the established airports such as CDG, FRA or LGW but if there is an airline that someone has used and would recommend for safety and cost-please let me know. Thanks! Happy Holidays-

dutyfree,

EasyJet flies from London Stansted to Prague.

www.easyjet.com

Alternatively, FlyBE (British European) flies there from Southampton airport, which can be reached by train from London Waterloo in just over an hour.

www.flybe.com

Other low-fare airlines that serve Prague are:
- Volareweb from Milan Malpensa and Venice
- Germanwings from Köln/Bonn (reasonably close to Frankfurt) and Stuttgart
- Helvetic from Zurich
- Snowflake from Stockholm

I have personally only used EasyJet and Volare (which has since been rebranded Volareweb), but would have no issues flying with any of the airlines mentioned.

Hope this helps,
Andre

If you prefer Paris, you might want to try Air France again or periodically, because that isn't their normal rate for APEX fares, coach. I've flown them RT Paris-Prague and it was only a few hundred euro. It may depend on your timing or dates you want to fly. That is really a Czech Air codeshare, so czech them out also. There isn't any rockbottom price in that market that I know of, as I've looked (from Paris).

I just checked a couple Tuesday dates in January on that route and it was only 312 euro RT on Czech Air. Czech Air is a good airline.

Hi

http://www.europebyair.com/eba/English_us/default.jsp has a $99 fare from Southhampton to Prague.

Also see http://www.attitudetravel.com/lowcostairlines.html for links to low-cost European airlines.
