I love Air France. I love French accents, French movies, and French airplane food. The most common complaint about AF is the short connection times in Paris, which sometimes mean your bags don't make your flight even if you do.

I recently flew AF to Italy and CO back, using CO miles. My long report is here:

fodors.com/forums/threadselect.jsp?fid=126&tid=34730280

Advantage: AF has better food, better seat (if 777-300ER), free alcoholic drinks, amenities kit, more video channels.

Disadvantage: Connecting at CDG, seat assignments that aren't honored.

[AF only uses their 773ER on JFK and IAH routes. CDG-EWR is on older A340.]

I keep looking at IAH-FCO with Onepass miles and the website always says only easypass is available for double the miles.

Rkkwan, is there anyway I could call Continental and get the normal 50000 miles for a roundtrip to Rome?

CO's website only shows award tickets on Continental. You need to call CO's Onepass desk and have the agent search for all partner airlines for you.

My recent award trip was certainly booked on the phone (25,000 outbound on Air France; 50,000 inbound SleazyPass on CO, as there's nothing available on all partners as well).
