Air conditioned appartment for 2 in inner Paris

I have friemds visiting Paris in July. They would like an air conditioned appartment for the 2 of them, but with a king size bed - he's 6'5". Hoping for one in inner Paris like Latin Quarter.

Have heard a lot of studios have a fold-out bed, and may not be comfortable? Anyone had the fold-out option?

I don't have any suggestions, but to avoid disappointments, they should definitely get the measurements of the bed - both in terms of length and width.

And it's very difficult to find appartements with A/C....
And the bed size will certainly be an issue... The average size in France being 140 cm wide... and 190 cm length...

We rent a nice one right on St. Germaine near Rue de Seine and Rue Buci. It is airconditioned and it has a king size bed.
But we are renting it from July 6 to 18, so I'm not sure of other availability and your dates. The owners are in San Francisco and you deal with them direct.

See www.sant.com

Funny, but I just looked at the site myself and it says there are twin beds made up as one. I sleep in a king bed at home, and was unaware in our week there last summer that this wasn't also a king. I'm 6 foot. I'm not sure that those were extra long twins making them like a king, but I'm usually bothered by the length in regular twins or double beds, so now I'm unsure.
