Paris in late May- air conditioning?

I'm planning a 7 night trip to Paris in late May of this year. We are looking at 2 different apartments, both of which are on the 7th floor (American), which is the top floor of each building. Do you think that air conditioning will be needed at this time of the year? Thanks for your advice.

We have been to Paris 3 times in May. Once we would have killed for ac for about 3 or 4 days but all other times no need.

You probably won't need air conditioning, but you might. If you'd be miserable without, better to book with it. Or, make sure there's cross ventilation and a fan.

While the top floor means you might be exposed to a little more air if you open the windows, it also unfortunately means it's likely to be very hot there -- those "converted attics" or "under the lead roof" apartments can be beastly hot.

I'll say this. I wouldn't think of NOT having AC at the end of May, but I know others are fine without it.
