We are Canadian and didn't have any problems using our Visa so don't know what the problem might have been. We were very happy to get such a good price thanks to brotherleelove2004.

I had the same difficulty booking flights with one credit card (Mastercard), so switched to another Mastercard and everything went fine. I'm from the US, not Canada, so apparently it's not a conspiracy against Canadians!

It was actually our fault. We had received new cards, which we forgot about and the old ones expired today. After a long search, I found the new ones!

Thank you Brotherleelove2004!!!!

I booked our Athens to Chania leg of our trip in June!! and saved mucho euros!! Thank you again. Now if I can only find "reasonable" fares from NY to Athens.

I just love this board. I have become an addict.

Thanks Brotherleelove. We have also booked our flight in July, Athens to Hania. Approx 95 Euros less than last year. Like HelenG, now need the tickets from Boston to Athens. If only they would go on sale.

I hope you can find a bargain. I've been looking and it appears that everything is a couple of hundred dollars more expensive this year.

Any suggestions on how to stay within the weight limit. Aegean allows 15 kilos for checked luggage. Thanks

That's 33 pounds, plus what you can carry on in a smaller bag should work. If you still have doubts I suggest you rethink what you're packing. In the past I've managed to make one carryon and one daypack work for a month's vacation, mostly because I dislike waiting after a long flight for my bags at the baggage carousel. Usually by the time they arrive I'm already out of the airport. My main bag is an expandable duffle bag, so if I want to bring anything back with me I'll have the room.

They ran the same seat sale for last summer and I used them for my trip to Santorini.

Aegean Air was great ... flew to Santorini in 40 mins and it only cost around 35 Euros I believe. Wow!

I am planning a Honeymoon to Greece this August/September for 8 nights. What islands would be a must-see for first-timers to Greece? Should we stay in Athens for a couple of nights or skip it all together and straight to Santorini or Crete? If we wanted to settle in somewhere and take day trips to other islands where should we stay? I appreciate any advice or guidance you can give to me. Thanks!

Don't wait much longer. I just booked my July flights today and after I booked them the prices doubled or tripled! No joke. The Euro 19 has now disappeared on at least half the flights I had charted in July between Athens/Mykonos and Athens/Crete.

Thanks for the heads up Brotherleelove2004. Also following your advice on Esperas in Santorini.
