Planning a trip to Scotland in August. First week is booked and will be spent in Edinburgh and area. I am flying out of Glasgow. I would like some recommendations for the 3 days between these two venues. Would you drive up to Loch Ness or would you go to Skye or? Looking for advice. Thanks, Craig

There's some pretty sensitive people on this forum, zurichhasbean. I saw your title and had to look to see if anyone actually gave some advice or if you just got a scolding for asking a question the &quot;wrong&quot; way.<BR><BR>Inverness and Loch Ness generally take a beating on this forum as well, but I really enjoy the trip along the loch. Skye and the region just north of Skye (Plockton, Applecross) are gorgeous. And the trip from Skye back down the coast toward Glasgow is also pretty spectacular. From Skye to Mallaig to Ft William, down to Oban to Crianlarich, Lochearnhead, Trossachs . . . I could KILL lots of time in that area.<BR><BR>Have fun!

I said there are some thin skinned people on this forum and when I saw the title of his post, I figured someone would comment on it without really responding.<BR><BR>2. What's the purpose of your question, Scarlett? Are you trying to put me on a spot? And why would anyone hunt haggis? What has he done? It's Bill Posters that should be hunted and prosecuted!! Although there's plenty of grafitti that claims that Bill Posters is innocent.

. . . and, yes, your haggis comment was humorous. I included the Bill Posters comment because long ago in Edinburgh someone had written that comment on practically every &quot;Bill Posters Will Be Prosecuted&quot; sign in the city.
