202 Apartments - has anyone stayed here?

This will be our first time in London for our family of four. The apartment I'm considering is located near the Science and Natural History Museum, so my 2 boys will appreciate that.

I'm also considering the South Bank area. There's a quad in the LSE Bankside House at a reasonable cost.

However, I would like to have a kitchen and the closest tube station is closed for construction.

I would appreciate any feedback

In addition to the fact that LSE availability can be quite limited (available mostly during school break periods) the 202 looks like a better location for you. Looks like decent pricing for London, too.

the 202 flats are a bit pricey (over £1000 a week for the larger 1-bdrms) -- and they are not really near the Science museum. They are in Kens Church St just about across from the Notting Hill Gate tube station - nearly 1.5 miles.

Don't get me wrong - the location is not bad and they look better than some flats. But there aren't many photos and they do look fairly basic for the rates.

Thanks you for your comments.
Yes, I realize now that the apartment is not in the immediate vicinity of the museums. I'm asuming that the rates are for the area. I've been checking out other apartments but am overwhelmed. Will continue searching.

"<i>I'm asuming that the rates are for the area</i>" You can get nice flats in more central neighborhoods for less . . . . . .

We rented through www.apartmentsw1.com in 2006 and were very pleased. They were spotlessly clean and from memory we had maid service each day?? The location (Harley St) was pretty good we were fairly close to Mdme Taussauds, we used the underground fairly often, but the units were only a 5 min walk to a stop.
