2 Weeks Andalucia- how much $ on gas?

Hi there
I'm trying to work out a (limited) budget for 2 weeks in Southern Spain. We're thinking of renting a car (economy/mini). That is easy enough to price, I'm researching parking fees, and I have an idea of how much gas is per litre in Spain. What I don't know is how much to budget for gas for the entire trip.

I realize this can't be done exactly, but I would love to hear from anyone who's done a similar trip (Malaga Granada Ubeda Cordoba Sevilla Arcos Ronda Malaga in 2 weeks). How much did you spend on gas? Again, I know I won't be able to exactly calculate a gas budget; I was just curious as to what others have spent, to help us decide whether we can really afford a car.
Many thanks

I'd recommend you plug in a representative itinerary on www.mappy.com - - it will include typical fuel costs along with the driving distances and time estimates.

An economy car will surely get 10-15 km/liter.

Best wishes,

Rex
Hi,

I was in Andalucia for 2 weeks and we stopped for gas about 4 times. Gas is very expensive there, and I don't know the exact amount, but be prepared for $$$!

Follow Rex's advice & figure around 83 cents per liter of unleaded regular.

Can't help you with your calculation, but if it's possible, try to get a diesel car. The economy-sized turbo diesels are fast enough, and not only will you get better mileage, but diesel's cheaper than unleaded.
