Venice Airport to cruise ship terminal

Hi all,
We will be cruising on Celebrity departing Venice on 25th May. We will be flying into Venice mid morning on the day of departure and want to go directly from the airport to the cruise ship terminal. Can anyone help me with the easiest and most convenient way of doing this, taxi, shuttle etc. etc.
Thanks a bunch.

Contract Celebrity directly for that information don't reply on this board because no one knows which dock will be used. Celebrity will have that info. On our last trip it was via taxi because cruise ship dock was right next to the train station and easily reached via a regular road.

Just got back from Venice last month where I began a 12 day cruise.

We stayed 3 extra days in Venice and had private tours.

We took a water taxi from the airport to the hotel and then a water taxi from the hotel to the dock where the Princess ship was.

There was no problem in doing this.

Had we wanted to go directly to the ship from the airport , then that is where the water taxi service would have taken us.
Hope this helps

Patricia,
Taking a water taxi can be very costly when going from Venice Airport to the island. I don't know where the cruise terminal is, but if it is on Venice Island, the best way to get there is by Alilaguna. It is cheap and easy and right outside when you exit the airport. Just do a search on alilaguna or access SlowTrav Italy website. That's where I got my info when I went to Venice. Water taxis can cost as much as $80US, but the Alilaguna, as I recall, cost less than $20US.
Good Luck and I envy you! I really want to go back to Italy and do a cruise.

I just typed cruise ship terminal in Venice, Italy into my search engine and the directions from the airport to the cruise ship terminal popped up. Give it a go!
Cheers!

In October, we used a company called Venice Limosine and they were great! 60 Euros for a private car and driver for the one way trip. www.venice-limousine.com I highly recommend them!

Thankyou all for your invaluable help, I think we now have the various options that are open to us, just need to make a decision.
