Does anyone have any information on the cruise to the Bahamas out of Orlando offered by FunSun Travel? The price seems too good to be true.

Maybe its because the Port of Orlando doesn't levy port charges.

How can there by a port of Orlando? I thought Orlando was in the middle of the state!

Orlando is in the middle of the state. It sounds too good to be true because it is. Obviously a scam with a very stupid person operating it.<BR>

check out the "BAHAMAS VACATION GUIDE" message boards. tons of discussions. you decide if it's good or bad. For us it was horrible. Still to get our refund. bought May 23, did not cancel until Aug. 29---too close to our leave date, and no confirmations. just promises. We then did our own. We had a beautiful time. Thanks to Janice and Les. make sure you take Reef Tours with "Les". He makes the trip. We went with him on a snorkling trip on a catamaran. He' a people person!!! People were very nice--if you are nice. why expect more from them then you do from people here. They deal with "tourist" everyday of their lives....down from perfume factory, next to bus stop, is a great food stop. alot of food, and really good. we found it at end of trip--sad--because it's good and you get alot. we split chicken and cracked conch combination platter..mmmmm. if you want to climb on beach rocks--bring beach shoes. go with attitude to enjoy each experience, good or bad, (we have them here) and you WILL have a good time. One day it rained, oh well, we were going to the beach anyway. I came back to 10 hour work days and weekend....made me appreciate it more. make sure you research your trip. send for info.from bahamas tourism. get on web sites of bahamas. especially message boards. Best one we found was "BAHAMAS VACATION GUIDE' don't be afraid to ask questions. They are so nice. Betty

Peter,<BR>the port of Topeka has cheap cruises to Denali Natl Park in December.

So far it is a bad thing for us... we booked, we waited 60 days for them to get back to us, when they did they said of course there was no trips in December when their guide said no black-out dates. I asked for a refund. It has been 25 days and still no money...

We just came back from our trip with FunSun Travel. It was wonderful. We had no problems with the hotels or the Discovery cruse. It was better than I hoped for and I would use FunSun Travel again. I worked in the hotel sales business in Ft.Laud.<BR><BR>They did pre-post business with us.<BR><BR>No happy guests on the post end of their trip.<BR><BR>If it seems to good to be true, it is.<BR><BR>Contact the state authorities, they have to have a bond to sell travel in FL.

I'm just a travler who had a good time. Is there anything wrong with that. I enjoyed the Comfort Suites in Ft. Lauderdale. I had a comfortable stay at the Island Palm Resort in Grand Bahama. I worked with FunSun and it paid off.
