Villa Renaissance

Hello,
Planning to go back to Turks this June. We stayed at Point Grace last time. We are thinking about a condo in the Villa Renaissance. Has anybody stayed there? It's pricey but the lowest room is lower than Point Grace so we may give it a try. Any info would be great. Also, anyone know how to get a cheap flight from Toronto Canada to Turks? I've been checking daily and it's expensive. Has anyone from Toronto bought a ticket to Turks lately? Please any and all info would be greatly appreciated...thanks

I was in Provo last week. I that the Villa Renaissance was so beautiful I had to walk in and see what it was. The pool area was also beautiful. I met a couple on the way out who also wanted to know what this incredible property was. I also went back my last day to take movies of it. Both times I didn't see any people there. I would love to stay there!

Have stayed at this property twice. I love the view from the ocean front condos!!! It is quiet with no restaurant on the property but you can walk to several places on the beach and down the road. The beach in front does not have hoards of people. The pool is beautiful! The units are very new. We love Turks and have been back several times after our initial stay at Beaches.Don't think you can go wrong staying there.

critch,
do you have any opinions on the ocean view rooms (as opposed to ocean front)? are they situated on the sides of the hotel? any comments would be much appreciated

Stayed at the Turks & Caicos Club. VR is beautiful and almost stayed there, but wanted to have the restaurant and be near the snorkeling.

Bluefan,
All the beachfront condos have great views. The other units are called garden suites/condos. They are on either side of the pool and in back of the beachfront units. You may get a sideview but it is nothing like being able to have the complete unobstructed view, in my opinion. We love being able to sit out on the balcony and look at the water. We like getting up in the morning and seeing the gorgeous aqua water with the white sand. Turks is a quiet, laid back kind of island and Villa Renaissance is the same. There is no night life there but there is a poolside bar.

We actually ended up staying at Turks and Caicos Club. It was a really nice place. Very quiet and beautifully landscaped. We felt very relaxed there. It was a wonderful vacation. If anyone has any questions feel free to email me or ask here...take care

Thanks critch for your reply. And Luisa, the Turks and Caicos Club looks absolutely luxurious. I finally saw their website. Now I've just got to decide where to stay, but I'm sure either would be fabulous.
