The Reefs, Bermuda In December
I am trying to plan a vacation in late December, early January for my husband and 3.5 year old daughter. I want to go to the Reefs in Bermuda. It is easy to get to from the East Coast and seems to be beautiful. My question is - will it be warm enough to enjoy walks on the beach, sand castle building, etc. OR will it be miserably cold. Also, is the Reefs a good choice for a child. I don't want to stay at a huge hotel, even if they have a kid's club. We are doing that this summer so I am looking for something small and friendly, but don't want to bother people looking for a child-free vacation.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I go to Bermuda every December and have found the weather to be very pleasant for walking the beach, etc. It is generally too chilly to swim in the ocean; but, many hotels have heated pools. January is a low occupancy time for BDA. They offer some special events , calling it Rendezvous Season. In my experience the crowd is older than during the summer.
The Reefs has a high service standard and I expect your child will be readily accomodated by staff. Assuming she is reasonably well behaved I think you will be fine.

We have stayed at the Reefs with our children a couple of times. My brother's kids were very young 3 or 4 when we all went together. They are very well behaved also. We had the only children in the place, but no one seemed to mind.
The Reefs is very nice, but I am not sure what it will be like in Dec.
