They can barely keep up maintenance on the resorts they already have. They should put their money and effort into the existing resorts. Many could use a good overhaul.

This looks nice. It's all oceanfront, luxury accommodations. A new one acre main pool and all are butler suites.

anyone know how far it is from their Royal Plantation in the Exumas?

Royal Plantation is on fowl Cay, which is closer to Staniel cay. To get to the new Sandals from there would require a private plane, or fly back to Ft. Lauderdale, then to Great Exuma. you might be able to go by boat, but again, extremely costly and take most of the day.

Sandals Resorts announced that they are hiring for their newest resort, scheduled to open in January 2010. The resort purchased recently from Four Seasons, will be hiring 400-500 employees, starting with management roles.

That's great news for Exuma. Bad news is that the golf course won't be open when I'm there in November. Oh, woe is me, I guess I'll just have spend more time on the beach.
