Room question at GLN, your help needed, thx!

We are booking a beachfront junior suite at the the Grand Lido Negril. How close are the beachfront rooms to the actual beach on the clothing side? Steps away or a hike? Do you have a nice view? Are they quiet rooms? Thanks for your help, it's our first trip.

Check out <http://www.superclubs.com/brand_gran.../index.asp> You can see that all of the rooms are very close to the beach. The "clothing" side (topless) is close to the road and you can hear some road traffic.

thank you for responding Dave, when I did a text search before I posted this message I actually saw that you gave someone else a similar response. I haven't heard from anyone else that the clothing side is a bit noisy. Also i had not heard that the clothing side is topless. I thought it was black and white, either the 'au natural' side or the clothing side. Does anyone else have any room or beach attire information that would be helpful? Thanks S.

Sasha,

GLN (as well as GLSS) has a 'Clothing Optional' side---bathing suits on, off, or anywhere in between. GLB has an 'Au Natural' side--totally nude.

The rooms on the Textile (clothing) side at GLN are kind of far from the water. There is a big grassy area before you get to the beach. The road DOES run rather close to the Textile rooms. The rooms on the CO side are very close to the water (maybe 40 feet?? I can't remember exactly....). We had room 2075 on CO side & kept our french doors open at night & could hear the water very clearly.
