recommendations for Provo

Dear HowardC or whomever would like to answer,
I'm looking for a restaurant in Provo with great steaks and seafood and fun atmosphere. Price not my concern. Don't want white linens and sterling for my 14 year old. Also looking for the best cuisine, wine list and atmosphere for a romantic dinner for 2. Also, best operators for fishing and snorkeling. Thanks.

For the romantic dinner, no question go to the restaurant at Grace Bay Club. It's a beautiful, open-air restaurant under a thatched roof by the sea -- and excellent food. It's pricey, but worth it. I believe you can see pictures of it (and maybe even a menu) on GBC's website.

For a romantic dinner I would recommend Anacoana or Coyoba. The food and the atmosphere is incredible at both. I liked Silver Deep. I didn't go fishing but went snorkeling with "Pringles". For dinner with your 14 year old, Hemmingways has a live band on certain nights. He might enjoy that.

Anacoana is a beautiful restaurant. The food is very good also. We have gone fishing several times with Silver Deep and have always been pleased. We also did the snorkeling, island stops with Pringles from Silver Deep and he is fun as well.

Gecko Grill is also a nice restaurant for a 14 year old. Great atmosphere, music in the backround and good food. Don't forget to ask for an outside table.

We just came back from T&C. Our 13yr old and his 8yr old brother were with us. Their favorite places were the Tiki Hut and Shark Bites (both in Turtle Cove). I would also recommend for a casually romantic dinner Baci's (italian restaurant) which is also in Turtle Cove. We ate there with the boys so it wasn't quite so romantic but the food was delicious.
