RC Cayman vs. Grace Bay Turks

Which one would you suggest for a luxury three-night getaway? We (married couple) are looking for a three- night get-a-way in March. We really want to be beach front and enjoy a beautiful spa.

Thanks

The Regent Palms on Grace Bay. Not sure where you live but chances`are the flight is shorter and the Palms has an amazing spa. The resort sits on one of the best beaches in the world.

Haven't been to T&C but loved Grand Cayman. Stayed next door at Westin but Ritz looked beautiful when we walked around the property. We were able to walk down beach to variety of restaurants. Water is CRYSTAL clear & snorkeling is amazing! I don't think you can go wrong with either place!

i've been to both and would give the nod to t&c for such a short visit. it's easier to negotiate.
besides regent palms look at grace bay club <very very nice, the somerset or possibly brand new verandah which is all inclusive - if you'd prefer that to the excellent dining options available on island.
for a smaller resort look at turks & caicos club or west bay club

Parrot Cay, T&C: http://www.parrotcay.como.bz/

All spa treatments are exceptional. "Alles Gut!"

On TCI, The Somerset,(www.thesomerset.com ) can walk next door to The Regent Palms for spa treatments( excellent spa) Walk to dining options, love Parrot Cay but, taking the boat over with short stay may be a problem with time ...just my thoughts.

I love both islands so I don't think you can go wrong with either one. Both have great beaches and wonderful restaurants. Cayman does have great shopping and there is virtually no shopping on Provo. But the water on Grace Bay is the prettiest turquoise I have seen outside of Tahiti.

I do agree that Provo might be the best choice because of the distance (unless you are flying from Houston to Cayman on Continental, in which case it would be closer for you.

Just booked another trip to Provo for May and American flies direct to Provo from Dallas (only 3 hr flight).

HAven't been to GC but loved the Regent Palms in Provo- definitely 5 stars. I wouldnt do Parrot Cay for 3 days-- I would just stay in provo. I have heard that with the Ritz in GC, unless you are in a oceanfront room, it can be quite a walk to the actual beach.

Although Seven Mile Beach on Grand Cayman is nice, it doesn't even come close to Grace Bay in T&C! For a short 3 day trip...T&C is by far the better of the two!
