Negril Hotels???
Hi everyone
Which of these three hotels attracts lesser families??
Charlea Inn
Idle Awhile
Kuyaba
Seasplash
I have nothing against kids, (I have one), but hubby and I will be celebrating our 10th year wedding annivesary, and I picked Negril for this trip (we stayed and got married in Ochio Rios in 1994), and would like to stay in one of the above places. I am leaning towards Kuyaba and Charlea Inn.
Thanks

...or Westside Wanderings can come here (hi atticus!)
I'd say Idle Awhile and Kuyaba would have no/the least kids. Definitely Charela is for families...I don't know much about Seasplash.
In my opinion, Idle Awhile is the best one on your list...nice mid-upper beach location, close enough to walk to everything but no music pounding next door all night (as is the case with Kuyaba one or two nights a week).
Unless you want to party....then Kuyaba has a better location. I think the beach is nicer up by Idle Awhile though.

i was in negril just 2 weeks ago and stopped by idle awhile to check it out - it is definitely the chicest of your choicest. the rooms are very pretty (albeit dark, but then again, you step outside and you're on the beach!) and the grounds are very nicely kept - nice tropical garden. also a nice stretch of beach there, they even have foam pads on the beach chairs that you can take out to the ocean and float on, which is a plus. kuyaba has live music at nights if that bothers you.
be sure to spend some time over by the cliffs as well! the hungry lion is an adorable restaurant, quite hip for negril and good food. the rockhouse is also obviously a great choice for meals as well.

I would do Idle Awhile. I was in Negril in April and checked out all these places and Idle Awhile had fewer kids and a really nice beach. Kuyaba is nice but it is next door to a noisy resort. Unless you have to be on the beach, check out The Caves on the cliffs.
